Biography of Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu, fondly known as the Prince of Tollywood and Naani, is the son of Tollywood Super Star Krishna. Mahesh Babu was born on August 9, 1974 and is in movies since his childhood. Later he decided to take a break to concentrate on studies. Most of his education happened in Chennai.

After finishing his B.Com from the famous Loyola College in Chennai, Mahesh Babu made a debut as hero with the film Rajakumarudu which was a big hit. A series of hits soon made Mahesh Babu the heart-throb of Tollywood.

6' 3" tall Mahesh Babu, married co-star in Vamsi, Namrata Sirodkar in the year 2005.

1 St film Rajakumarudu:

He started his Debut action in his Fathers film when he was child only and proved himself at that time only.Rajakumarudu is his first film as a hero.Hot Bollywood actress Priety zinta acted beside him as herione in this film.The film is has a Back drop of guy who goes to his uncle Dhanunjay (prakash raj) who is in Khandala.Rani i.e our actress priety comes to Khandala for college trip and unexpectedly both of them meets there,Raj kumar (mahesh Babu) being a naughty fellow in the film teases Rani and both of them keep on quarrelling.After some days this leads to love and says to hi Mama Prakash raj he wont accept it because Rani is the Daughter of Dhanunjay’s wife’s brother so he rejects it as both of them had divorse.Mahesh later on came to know the whole story and goes to Rani’s village and stays in her house and after many quarrels with her family at last Unites Dhanunjay and his wife and Marries Rani.

The film has dubbed in Hindi as Prince no:1 and in Tamil as Kaadhal Vennila.The 1st film of him has bought much fame to him,film had celebrated 50 days run in 69 centres and 100 days in 45 centres.The film has released in the year 1999.Director of the film is Smashing Raghavendra rao.The songs of the movie was Awesome and become a man part in the success of the film.The music director of the film is Mani sharma.The lyrics of the film has given by Sirivennela Sitarama shastry and Chandra bose.

Next he got many offers but he rejected many of them and done some of the film such as Yuvaraju which was directed and produced by Y.V.S choudary. The music of the film has given by Ramana Gogula. This movie is First movie of Ramana Gogula and Mahesh’s Combination. The herione of the film is Simran. Even sakshi shivanand also played a role in the film. After Yuvaraju he acted in B.Gopal’s Vamsi in which Actress Namrata shirodkar played a herione role and their Love affair has started from this film.The film was produced by Adhisesagiri rao. Later on in 2001 17th feb his Film MURARI was released which was Directed by Krishna Vamsi. And produced by N.Deviprasad and Ramalingeshwar rao.The film is written by Gunashekar and Paruchuri brothers. The music of the film was given by Manisharma and it was also a musical Hit.Mahesh acting was stunning in the film.The backdrop of the film is about a boy who is so mischievious and from a village background. The film is about a Suprerstitious belief of family. Mahesh fore fathers ruled the city in the past times and he does some mistake of selling the ornaments of Godess to the british.

So he causes to death and from that time in every generation a person from his family dies.It was mahesh babus turn now to die and his grand mother does many prayers to stop Murari’s death (mahesh babu). And at last his grand mother dies and mahesh becomes alive.The film was very hit of that time and broke the records.The film was a nice mile stone in Mahesh’s career.Actress Sonali Bendre played a role in the film as herione and she also got good success to this role.The film has run for more than 175 days in many theatres.

His next film is Takkari donga,the director of the film is Jayanth C paranjee. The movie was a big flop but also got good collections and many awards. Mahesh played a role of cowboy Raja who does anything for money. He has a deal with a person to bring diamonds from a place and he succeds in bringing damonds but the vilan tries to kill him but asusually vilan dies in hands of Mahesh. Lisa ray and Bipasha Basu Played the top herione roles. Music of the film has given by Mani sharama again. Editing was done by Marthand k venkatesh and camera by Jayanan vincet.

Dialogues and story was given by Satyanand. The film has released under the banner of “Jayanth Film mark Synergies”. It has bought a Special jury Nandi award to Mahesh. Best fight master Nandi award for Vijayan.Best child award for Kaushik. Best cinematographer for Jayanan vincet. And best Audiographer award for Madhusudam Reddy. The film has released in the year 2002 Jan 12th.

After this Takkari Donga he has done Sobhan’s Bobby in the year 2002. Music director was Mani sharma. And Actress Arthi Agarwal played Bhanumathi role in this film. This film is an another flop to Mahesh. It didnot run even fro 100 days also. Prakash raj and Raghuvaran are two famous Rowdies in the city and Prakash’s Daughter is Arthi whereas Raghuvaran’s Son is Mahesh both of them are in love and flies away. When prakash raj knows the story and thinks of Killing Mahesh later on by some means he agrees for marriage and talks to Raghuvaran. But Prakash raj’s brother in law kills Mahesh’s Friend due to that Mahesh kills prakash’s Brother in law. And there will be shoot at site orders from cops to both the teams. They kills both of them and film comes to end where Arthi and Mahesh Marries each other.

Next comes “OKKADU” this is the 1 st biggest hit in Mahesh’s life.OKKADU was directed by Gunashekar. The story of the film is about a crazy guy of Hyderabad who is a kabbadi Player and goes to Kurnool there he sees the Disastrous things which are done by Prakash raj. Then he thinks of stopping them but he couldnt later on prakash raj plans to marry Bhoomika and she dont like marrying him because he Killed two brothers of Bhumika. Babu sees this scene and saves Bhoomika and takes her to hyderabad. Prakash raj gets angry and finds mahesh and fights with him. At last Mahesh Babu marries Bhoomika.

Next film is Nijam which was directed by Teja which is a big flop again after a big hit. Mahesh Babu got Nandi Award for this film.

After this film in 2004 he did 2 films which are Arjun and Nani. Both of them are average films and couldnt make mahesh that popular. For Arjun he got Nandi Award for special Jury.

Then he did only one film in 2005 that is ATHADU which is about a shooter and his life. It was a big hit and bought good income to Producers. The name of Mahesh in this film is Nanda gopal. The producer of the film is M.Ram Manohar and Jayabheri Kishore.Director,story, screenplay and dialogues of the film has given by trivikram srinivas. Cinematography by K.V.Guhan. His Next film is with HUGE COLLECTIONS and broke the records of BOX OFFICE.The story is about a Mafia boy Pandu who does anything for money and Shruthi who works as a yoga teacher at Nassar’s school of music. Sruthi meets Pandu and after somedays they both falls in love with each other as pandu clears off all family problems of Sruthi. The film had a suspense upto ending Pandu who is originally the Son of Nassar works as an Secret officer and cleans the useless officers in the department.

Prakash raj played the role of Alibhai is one of the most wanted criminal in the story he suppourts the Alibhai group in the starting but later on gets some clashes and kills the Gang mates . Ali bhai is very much tensed to know that how come cops are knowing all the plans of our Gang he came to know that some one from our gang is a repoter for the police then he kills Nasser and after killing
him Krishna manohar IPS i.e MR Pandu (Mahesh babu) enters into the scene and fights with Ali bhai and kills him at the climax scene. Pokiri has broke the Records of the industry the film got $200,000 USD in first two weeks staring Mahesh Babu, Ileana, Prakash Raj,Prakash Raj, Nassar, Ali, Mumaith Khan and Ajay.
